Simple, Transparent Membership Pricing
DocTalker Family Medicine is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Vienna, VA. Instead of billing insurance for visits, we charge one flat monthly membership fee. That fee covers unlimited visits — in person, by phone, or by video — with no copays, ever. Same-day or next-day appointments for acute concerns, direct access to your own physician (not a call center), and care available 24/7.

Patients under 18 must be enrolled together with a parent or guardian member. Enrollment for children under 6 is considered on a case-by-case basis — please call our office. Prices are subject to change. There is no long-term contract — membership is billed monthly.

What’s Not Included (and How We Keep It Transparent)
Labs: You may use your insurance for lab work, or pay our discounted cash prices — whichever is better for you. We’ll tell you the cost before anything is drawn.
In-office procedures: Sutures, joint injections, COVID PCR tests, and similar procedures carry a separate charge. We quote the price with you before the procedure so you can make an informed decision. No surprise bills.
House calls and worksite visits: DocTalker offers house calls throughout Northern Virginia. House calls and worksite visits are billed under a separate fee schedule and are not included in membership.
Do You Take Insurance?
We do not bill insurance for visits — that’s what allows us to keep visits unlimited, unhurried, and copay-free. However, you should keep your insurance. Your insurance continues to work normally for prescriptions, lab work, imaging, specialist referrals, and hospital care. Many of our patients pair a DocTalker membership with a high-deductible health plan to lower their total healthcare spending.

How much does DocTalker Family Medicine cost?
Membership ranges from $35 to $125 per month depending on age, billed monthly with no long-term contract. Adults 26–49 pay $99/month, adults 50 and over pay $125/month, and children and young adults on a parent’s membership pay $35/month.
Are there copays or per-visit fees?
No. Your monthly membership covers unlimited visits — in person, by phone, or by video — with no copays and no per-visit charges. Only labs, in-office procedures, and house calls carry separate, quoted-in-advance costs.
Does DocTalker accept insurance?
We do not bill insurance for visits. Your insurance remains fully usable for medications, labs, imaging, specialists, and hospital care that we prescribe or refer.
Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for membership?
Many of our patients use HSA or FSA funds toward their membership. Rules vary by plan, so we recommend confirming with your plan administrator or tax advisor.
Is there a registration or enrollment fee?
Yes. There is a one-time registration fee of $110 per patient. If your family is registering at the same time, please call our office at (703) 938-4600 to discuss a possible reduction in the registration fee. A payment method on file is required to formally become a patient, provided during registration.
Do you offer memberships for businesses and employees?
Yes. DocTalker partners with Northern Virginia employers to provide Direct Primary Care as an employee benefit, with per-employee-per-month pricing. Contact us to learn more.
