Simple, Transparent Membership Pricing
DocTalker Family Medicine is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Vienna, VA. Instead of billing insurance for visits, we charge one flat monthly membership fee. That fee covers unlimited visits (in person, by phone, or by video) with no copays, ever. Same-day or next-day appointments for acute concerns, direct access to your own physician (not a call center), and care available 24/7.

Patients under 18 must be enrolled together with a parent or guardian member. We see children age 6 and up. Prices are subject to change. There is no long-term contract. Membership is billed monthly.

What's Not Included (and How We Keep It Transparent)
Labs: You may use your insurance for lab work, or pay our discounted cash prices, whichever is better for you. We'll tell you the cost before anything is drawn.
In-office procedures: Sutures, joint injections, COVID PCR tests, and similar procedures carry a separate charge. We quote the price with you before the procedure so you can make an informed decision. No surprise bills.
House calls and worksite visits: DocTalker offers house calls throughout Northern Virginia. House calls and worksite visits are billed under a separate fee schedule and are not included in membership. Members pay about $340 for a 30-minute house call (15% off), plus distance. Patients who need care mainly at home are seen per visit without a membership. See house call pricing.
Do You Take Insurance?
We do not bill insurance for visits. That's what allows us to keep visits unlimited and copay-free. However, you should keep your insurance. Your insurance continues to work normally for prescriptions, lab work, imaging, specialist referrals, and hospital care. Many of our patients pair a DocTalker membership with a high-deductible health plan to lower their total healthcare spending.

How much does DocTalker Family Medicine cost?
Adults 18 to 49 pay $99 a month, and adults 50 and over pay $125 a month. Children and young adults ages 6 through 26 on a parent membership pay $35 a month. Membership is billed monthly with no long-term contract.
Are there copays or per-visit fees?
No. Your monthly membership covers unlimited visits (in person, by phone, or by video) with no copays and no per-visit charges. Only labs, in-office procedures, and house calls carry separate, quoted-in-advance costs.
Does DocTalker accept insurance?
We do not bill insurance for visits. Your insurance remains fully usable for medications, labs, imaging, specialists, and hospital care that we prescribe or refer.
Is there a registration or enrollment fee?
Yes. There is a one-time registration fee of $110 per patient. It covers the time we spend reviewing your outside medical records and setting up your chart, so your physician knows your history from your first visit. When a family of four registers together, we may waive the fee for the two children. Call (703) 938-4600 or email info@doctalker.com to discuss. A payment method on file is required to formally become a patient, provided during registration.
